Are you impaired or are you disabled? After I quit some workplace training, this question came up and I found this to explain the words. It's waffly but it's right. It's about the difference between a 'medical model' (something wrong with your body or mind) and a 'social model' (something wrong with the way people interact with you.)

Have you taken or taught Massive Open Online Courses? Some say they're the new big thing in education. A rival for the Open University perhaps. I haven't yet discovered what differs between OU and Moocs except that employers take OU qualifications more seriously than Moocs. But perhaps that'll change.
